ARTICLE 1. APPLICATION AND MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
In accordance with article L 441-6 of the French Commercial Code, these general terms and conditions of sale (GTCS) constitute the sole basis of the commercial relationship between the parties and apply to all orders placed on the website: www.objectifhorlogerie.com
The publisher reserves the right to adapt or modify these general terms and conditions of sale at any time.
In the event of modification, the general terms and conditions of sale in force on the day of the order will be applied to each order.
These general terms and conditions of sale apply exclusively to non-trading individuals.
ARTICLE 2. PRICE
The prices of our workshops are indicated in euros or in another currency if proposed on the website, inclusive of all taxes (VAT + other taxes) and exclusive of processing fees. Our workshop prices are public prices. Objectif Horlogerie reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but undertakes to apply the prices in force at the time of your order, subject to availability on that date. The workshops remain the property of Objectif Horlogerie until full payment has been received by Objectif Horlogerie. Payment is made before the date of your workshop.
ARTICLE 3. WORKSHOP AVAILABILITY
Our workshops and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the site. On receipt of your order, we check the availability of the workshop(s) ordered. If, despite Objectif Horlogerie‘s vigilance, the workshop(s) ordered is (are) unavailable, we will inform you of this by e-mail as soon as possible, and will offer you either to reserve another workshop date, or to cancel your order.
The order registration date corresponds to the date of online payment by credit card using our partner’s secure payment terminal.
ARTICLE 4. ORDER VALIDATION AND ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE (LAW OF MARCH 13, 2000 ON ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES)
Any order validated by clicking on the validation button implies irrevocable acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
The “double click” associated with the authentication and non-repudiation procedure and the protection of message integrity constitutes an electronic signature.
This electronic signature has the same value between the parties as a handwritten signature.
ARTICLE 5. PAYMENT METHODS AND SECURITY
Payment for your purchases must be made in cash.
Cash payment by credit card
You can pay by credit card (Visa, Euro, MasterCard, American Express): in this case, payment is made on our partner’s website. This implies that no banking information concerning you transits via the Objectif Horlogerie site. Payment by credit card is therefore perfectly secure. Your order will be registered as soon as the bank accepts your payment. You can pay online with confidence by entering your credit card number, expiry date and the security code on the back of your card in the spaces provided.
Your credit card details are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and are never transmitted in clear text over the network. Payment is made directly to the bank. Objectif Horlogerie has no access to these details and does not store them on its servers. That’s why we ask for them again each time you make a new transaction on our site. For security reasons, we activate 3D-Secure for all orders over 100 euros.
Payment in 3 or 4 instalments by card, free of charge, is a service reserved for private individuals residing in mainland France. It allows you to make a payment in three or four instalments and purchase your item on the first payment, without any surcharge or interest.

You can pay by Paypal for all orders.
ARTICLE 6. ORDERING METHOD
6.1 Ordering process
To book one of our Objectif Horlogerie introductory watchmaking workshops, you must :
- go to the city page of your choice
- select a date and time slot of your choice, according to the availabilities displayed
- create a customer account or log in if you are already a customer
- confirm your choice
- validate your basket
- fill in the required fields and add the first and last name of the workshop participant
- and finally proceed to the payment of your order
6.2 Order tracking
Once you have placed your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your reservation and another e-mail approving your payment.
An e-mail will be sent to you a few days before the date of your workshop with all the information concerning your session (exact location, information about the venue, etc.).
You can retrieve your reservations from your customer account.
The Customer must provide a valid e-mail address, failing which Objectif Horlogerie shall not be liable for any consequences arising therefrom. The customer must update his data in his customer area.
6.3 Countries accessible to workshops
We offer our workshops in several countries: France, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Belgium, United States, Canada…
To book your workshop, you can choose your currency (Canadian dollars, US dollars or Euro) and your language (French or English) on our website.
ARTICLE 7. RESPONSIBILITIES
Objectif Horlogerie cannot be held responsible for non-performance of the contract in the event of force majeure as defined by law and jurisprudence.
The choice and purchase of a place at a workshop are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Objectif Horlogerie has only a best-efforts obligation for all stages of the site access and order process. Objectif Horlogerie may not be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet, in particular a break in service, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or for any event qualified as force majeure, in accordance with case law.
ARTICLE 8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND
In accordance with the provisions of article L.121-21 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days to exercise his right of withdrawal. The period begins on the day the order confirmation e-mail is received by the customer or a third party expressly designated by the customer. If this period normally expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended until the next working day.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may send an e-mail to contact@objectifhorlogerie.com within 14 days of receiving your last order confirmation e-mail.
In order to speed up the processing of your return, Objectif Horlogerie would be grateful if you could provide us with your order number at the time of your request and your wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. Once the conditions have been met, the refund will be made within 15 days.
After the 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase, no refund will be made.
ARTICLE 9. POSTPONEMENT AND CANCELLATION
If you wish to postpone or cancel a workshop date already booked, please notify us at least 14 days in advance by letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the following postal address: Objectif Horlogerie 48 rue de Rivoli 75004 Paris.
Any request for postponement or cancellation within 14 days of your workshop date will be refused and classified as expired. The absence of a participant from a workshop on a date already defined will be considered non-refundable, with no possibility of postponement, and classified as expired.
ARTICLE 10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All elements of the Objectif Horlogerie website, whether visual or audio, are protected by copyright, trademarks or patents. They are the exclusive property of Objectif Horlogerie. As such, and in accordance with the provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code, it may only be used for private purposes, subject to different, or even more restrictive, provisions of the Intellectual Property Code.
Any total or partial reproduction of the Objectif Horlogerie website is strictly forbidden without prior agreement.
ARTICLE 11. INTEGRALITY
Should any of the clauses of this contract be rendered null and void by a change in legislation, regulations or by a court decision, this shall in no way affect the validity of and compliance with these general terms and conditions of sale.
ARTICLE 12. DURATION
The present terms and conditions apply for the duration of the online services offered by Objectif Horlogerie.
ARTICLE 13. PROOF
Computerized registers, kept in the computer systems of Objectif Horlogerie and its partners under reasonable security conditions, will be considered as proof of communications, orders and payments between the parties.
ARTICLE 14. TRANSACTION STORAGE AND ARCHIVING
Purchase orders and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium in such a way as to correspond to a faithful and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code.
ARTICLE 15. DISPUTES
These terms and conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, Objectif Horlogerie and the customer will attempt to resolve it. In the event of failure to reach a settlement, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
